As a provider the pharmacy is an extension of our care system. I am upset and frustrated at the pharmacy staff's inability to adapt work flow to technical problems. Their phone system has been malfunctioning for a week I was told by staff. The voice messaging system is down. I've called 10 times today to place an urgent refill authorization for a patient. I have been left on hold for more than 15 minutes and hung up on at least 3/4 of the times I've called. (Only guessing that is their way of work reduction) I understand they are busy and probably frustrated as well but this is unprofessional and unacceptable patient care.

Brought my daughter in for her covid booster and was the first in line. They took my daughters card, filled it out and handed it back to me then told me that the system wasn't accepting the new batch of vaccine. I waited over an hour. I could have gone somewhere else and been done with it, but her card already reflected that she got her shot. They told me to go do my shopping and they would call me when it was ready and I came back half an hour later and they were giving other people shots.

I have used MANY pharmacies in my life.
New castle,In. walmart is without question the best.
